POST 2: "THE BEST HOLIDAYS"
Well I'm grateful for be able to say that I've had the chance to met differents places and all of them has something special, but one of my favorite holidays it was when I visited Guatemala.
I travelled to Guatemala in summer 2014, I went with my mother and brother, we stayed on mother's friend house for twenty days. When my mom told me that we'll go there I really didn't know nothing obout Guatemala, but how we arrived at the house of family friends, they told us everything that we had to know about it, like what place visit.
Principal places that they recommended us were Tikal National Park, Antigua Guatemala, Atitlans lake, chichicastenango and also we went Xocomil Water Park. Of all these places I think Tikal and Antigua Guatemala was my favorites because both have a interesting history and beautiful architecture but with different style. In Tikal you can see the impressive Mayan Pyramids and diverse vegetation. And Antigua Guatemala is a Cultural Heritage of Humanity you can see buildings from 16th century in good conditions and stunning stone streets.
I believe this is one of my favorite trip because of the beautiful places that I met, the people with I shared and it was the longest trip that I do with my family.

ReplyDeleteIt seems a very nice country to visit. I don't know very much about Guatemala either but from all that you mention I would really like to go.
ReplyDeletethat's really cool! Although Guatemala is a somewhat unusual destination, it seems that it may surprise you since it has a whole hidden culture! How great that your mom had a friend where you could stay!
